HK Adventures: Herbal Medicines @Kwun Fung Herbal Co.

Quick post:

Today I missed my trip to Macao. 

"Why so serious.."

All these late nights for the past couple of weeks has been taking a toll on my wellbeing, so I decided to stay back from the group and just chill.

I remembered seeing plenty of herbal shops in Causeway Bay, so I took a bus and went to a store called,"Kwun Fung Herbal Co."

There was a strong smell, it wasn't stinky or anything, I'm not sure how to explain it, but it reminded me of old chinese medicines...well it is old chinese medicines. 

hmm... its really difficult to explain the scent.

The man who owned the place said I was lacking sleep and wasn't eating well.

... which was kinda t r u e ...

He gave me sliced ginseng to take back home to brew as tea.

It is supposed to help improve my immune system and fatigue, amongst other things.

*hopefully this will work*

I later went to a spa to relax, 

and did a small acupuncture sesh.

that will be all for now, 

bout to head off for dinner with a friend.

Day 3: HK's humid weather + my troubles...

The warmth in HK is starting to get to me, most mornings I've been waking up with bad headaches..feeling dizzy, and tired. Tho I do drink plenty of liquids, I feel it's not enough. 

Just checked the weather forecast for this week, looks like it's gonna be another scorching day.. And throughout. 

I'm starting to miss Melbourne's unpredictable weather :(

In addition, there's no need to wear make up, the stuff just melts off your face, especially if you're outside most of the day. I've also noticed that my skin condition is not coping well to this weather... Hopefully, it's not an allergic reaction to something, and that I will adjust within the following weeks before uni starts, and get my daily routine back on track.
